The Bucs are headed to the Super Bowl

This is unbelievable. To see a team you root for head to the Super Bowl is an experience I’ve never well, experienced. I’ve been a lifelong Vikings fan. But since I’ve lived in Tampa for the last 6 years, I became a Bucs fan by proxy, and boy am I glad that happened.

First off, Tom Brady came to down. The year started okay, but it was evident he was meshing with the team. Wins followed and tonight the unbelievable happened.

Bucs to the Super Bowl
Super Bowl is slated for Sunday, Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. ET (CBS) (Via ESPN)

The Packers have always been tough. I loathe them, actually for all the trouble they’ve given my Vikings.

But to go into Lambeau and beat the home team, was pretty incredible.

History was made tonight in that the Bucs are the first team to play in a Super Bowl hosted by their own city.

With the Stanley Cup, a World Series appearance and now a Super Bowl appearance in one year, Tampa is surely on the map for all the right reason. ????️
