Does our house or office have a black hole when it comes to wireless internet? I live in a relatively small apartment, a place you’d think would be chalk full of high-speed internet converage from my Wi-Fi connection. Not the case. I actually have a lot of trouble getting a solid internet signal in my bedroom which is about two rooms away from where my router sits.

I am currently testing the Rec10 Wireless Extender by Amped Wireless. Out of the box, it is a very simple process to get up and running. I attached the device to an outlet in the living room just outside of the bedroom. I used my iPad to connect the device to my current network. It allows you to  set up new security or mimic your current settings. It also claims to boost your signal an addition 6500 square feet. That’s a good distance!

In only a few minutes, it was running and working perfectly. I’ll have a full review after I have tested it for a good period of time. But after just one day, I’m happy with how the Rec10 is responding and delivering useable internet connection to all areas of my apartment.
