Vine: Save your iPhone cords!

Lately I’ve noticed I have far too many iPhone charger plugs than I do cords. Most cords fall victim to strangulation – overuse and twisting that eventually damages the cord fibers near the plug of the cord. Alas, a solution. Check out my latest fine for a very simple fix to prevent ‘neck-breaking’ your iPhone cords. Granted, a pen loses its life, but hey…there’s gotta be a loser, and it shouldn’t be you.

TIP: After I shot this, I noticed the spring was a bit low near the top of the cord. Shimmy the spring all the way to the base of the plug. The end of the spring will stick into the rubber under the plug and not move. Boom!
