Not really. But Brian Monahan and I are holding down the fort at WFTV tonight (Sunday). Brian is our new meteorologist from WINK-TV in Fort Myers. If you have a chance to tune in tonight, we’ll be on Channel 27 for Eyewitness News at 10:00 and then over on Channel 9 for Eyewitness News at 11:00.
I also told him about my recent discovery of Doorstep Delivery. This is an ingenious website that allows you to pop in your zip code and get a menu items from dozens of Orlando restaurants. Then you enter in what you want, add some notes (ex. extra pickles on my hamburger), add a deliver gratuity – and BAM! The food arrives at your doorstep in less than an hour.
It’s simply genius for people like me who lack the desire to try and whip up something decent for dinner (especially after failing to get groceries).
Working for the weekend and having dinner delivered on my break. Not too shabby.
